Artist's Comments"Good and Evil have the s a m e face; it all depends on when they cross the path of each individual human being." This is my entry for "Bring Your Vision to Life" contest. You can see the girl underwater. This work is surrealist, because fire can not light up under water, it self-evident. However, I did so intentionally. I wanted to show us that evil come anywhere. There is no place on earth in which there would be no evil. The upper part of my work is good, the lower part is evil. Oxygen is a good side because it is life-giving. Good is the top of my work, because destroy evil. To have a sense of life, they must exist. Therefore, girl have eyes of different colors. In each of us is good and evil. When someone is evil it still has the good part, however, must find it in themselves. [ I apologies for my bad English. ] Do you want to see before and after? I do not really see a metaphor of good vs evil... Fire and water are essentials elements in our lives... You could answer me that thanks to the glance of the character we see the mirrors of the soul and what lies inside our heart... However this composition is really beautiful, really intense and I like the colors you used... Very magnificent work! fantastic.
I really love the underwater and the flame. I think there are two
ways to look at this work. Maybe the bubbles could have been
more sharp. But the way I look at it. with the flame below and
the rising heat it would have distorted the bubbles almost to a
boiling state.
With the texture above the bubbles it looks to me that its what
you were trying to achieve. I found the whole work in general
most beautiful. And I wish you luck in the contest
